Blickindex is owned and operated by Rhein Media Ltd., a private company registered in Gibraltar (company number 132410). All editorial decisions are the responsibility of Chefredaktör Thomas Weber, who oversees the complaints procedure and publication standards. We are committed to handling every complaint transparently and promptly.
How do I submit a complaint?
Please send your complaint to complaints@blickindex.de. We will acknowledge receipt within two working days. Your message should include your name, the article URL or headline, a clear description of the issue, and any supporting evidence. Anonymous complaints are accepted but may limit our ability to investigate fully.
If you prefer post, you may write to our registered office: Suite 5.03, World Trade Center, 6 Bayside Road, Gibraltar, GX11 1AA. However, email is the fastest way to reach us.
How does the handling process work?
Each complaint is reviewed by our fact-checking team led by Laura Hoffmann, who is responsible for fact-checking and source verification. We will investigate the matter, consult the relevant editor or reporter, and aim to provide a substantive response within ten working days.
If the issue involves a factual error, we will correct it in accordance with our corrections policy. If the complaint concerns editorial judgement or fairness, we will explain our reasoning and, where appropriate, publish a note or clarification. We will keep you informed at each stage.
What if I am not satisfied with the outcome?
You may escalate your complaint to Chefredaktör Thomas Weber by emailing anders.lindqvist@blickindex.de or calling +46 8 525 030 61. Mr Weber will conduct a further review and issue a final decision within fifteen working days. This is the highest level of internal review at Blickindex.
If the matter remains unresolved, you may refer it to the relevant press council or regulatory body in Sweden or Gibraltar. We will cooperate fully with any such review. For reference, our full editorial policy sets out the standards we follow.
Where can I find our other policies?
We publish all key policies on our website. You can review our corrections policy for details on how we handle errors, our privacy policy for data protection, and our contact page for general inquiries. These documents work together to ensure accountability.
For additional transparency, please see our editorial policy, fact-checking policy, and ownership and funding disclosure. We are committed to providing clear, practical coverage of Swedish news without spin or oversimplification.
