Über uns

Blickindex (blickindex.de) is an independent Swedish digital news publisher that delivers clear, practical coverage of Swedish news, politics, economy, culture, society and current affairs. Founded in 2024, our tagline — “Nachrichten, Analysen und Hintergründe für Deutschland” — reflects our mission to bring German-language readers trustworthy journalism about Sweden. Every article is produced by named writers, reviewed by an editor and fact-checked before publication, ensuring our reporting remains accurate and free from spin.

Who is responsible for Blickindex?

Thomas Weber, Chefredaktör, is ultimately responsible for all editorial standards, publication decisions and corrections at Blickindex. He ensures that every piece meets our commitment to accuracy, fairness and independence. Overseeing the daily newsroom is Anna Müller, Redaktionschef, who manages commissioning, headline review and editorial workflow. All editorial staff and contributors are listed on our team page, where you can see the named journalists behind our reporting.

Our senior editors include Markus Schneider, Politikredaktör, covering the Riksdag, government and local politics; Julia Fischer, Wirtschaftreporter, focusing on the economy, markets and household finances; Stefan Becker, Kultur- och samhällsredaktör, responsible for culture, lifestyle and society; and Laura Hoffmann, Ansvarig för faktagranskning, who leads fact-checking and source verification. Each writer and editor is identified by name on their articles, and readers can always reach them via the contact details provided on our team page.

What company owns and operates Blickindex?

Blickindex is owned and operated by Nordklar Media Ltd, a private company registered in Gibraltar under company number 132410. Our registered office is Suite 5.03, World Trade Center, 6 Bayside Road, Gibraltar, GX11 1AA. Although the company is based in Gibraltar, our editorial focus is exclusively Swedish: we report on Sweden’s politics, economy, culture and society for readers in Sweden and internationally. This cross-border structure allows us to operate independently while remaining rooted in Swedish journalistic standards.

You can reach our main office on +350 200 66820, and our Swedish editorial line on +49 30 577 012 40. For editorial inquiries, the Chefredaktör’s direct line is +46 8 525 030 61. Full details of our corporate structure, ownership and funding sources are available in our ownership and funding disclosure.

How does our editorial process work?

Every article published on Blickindex is drafted by a named writer, reviewed by an editor and fact-checked before publication. This three-stage process ensures that our reporting is accurate, well-sourced and free from bias. We follow a strict editorial policy that governs sourcing, impartiality and corrections, and maintain a separate fact-checking policy that details our verification methods.

We may use AI‑assisted tools for research, editing, formatting, translation, metadata, headline options, summaries and transcription. However, no AI-generated content is ever published without human editor approval. AI must never fabricate quotes, sources, interviews, bylines, author experience or expert profiles. Every piece that appears on the site is reviewed and approved by a human editor who bears full responsibility for its accuracy and integrity.

Sponsored or commercial material is clearly labelled, and affiliate links are disclosed in accordance with our advertising and affiliate disclosure. Commercial relationships never determine editorial conclusions.

What topics do we cover?

Blickindex covers Swedish politics (politik), the economy (wirtschaft, economy), culture, society and current affairs. Our editorial scope includes the Riksdag, government policy, municipal politics, labour market trends, household finance, corporate developments, arts and lifestyle, and broader societal issues such as education, healthcare and immigration. We aim to help readers understand complex issues without oversimplification or spin.

Our reporters and editors are based in Sweden and Germany, giving us a dual perspective that benefits international and German‑language audiences. Whether you follow Swedish affairs from Stockholm, Berlin or elsewhere, our coverage provides the context and depth needed to make sense of the news.

How is Blickindex funded?

Blickindex is funded through display advertising, affiliate links, commercial partnerships, sponsored content, newsletter sponsorships and content licensing. All sponsored or commercial material is clearly labelled so readers can distinguish it from independent journalism. Affiliate links are disclosed within the relevant articles. Our commercial relationships never determine editorial conclusions — editorial independence is non‑negotiable.

We do not accept funding from political parties, government bodies or individuals that would compromise our editorial autonomy. Full details of our revenue sources and commercial relationships are available in our ownership and funding disclosure.
